Borderland Voices promotes mental health through the arts, drawing on environmental
issues and the natural landscapes which offer inspiration and comfort to the artist.
The group delivers accessible arts projects and offers creative space for self-expression
within a supportive community. This work recognises the contribution that nature and an
experience of the wider and wilder environments makes to personal wellbeing.
Based in Leek, Staffordshire, UK; Borderland Voices uses local landscapes for inspiration,
reaching out to the craggy cliffs of the Roaches, the beautiful dales of the Moorlands and
rivers running through spectacular limestone gorges.
